Linda Montgomery, French born is a freelance illustrator known for her pastel drawings and oil paintings. Within her work, Linda brilliantly makes use of colour, mood & spirit to evoke expression of life. Her work has won awards from Communication Arts, the New York and L.A Society of Illustrators, New York Art Directors Club, the Advertising & Design Club of Canada, and a Studio Magazine Gold Medal. Her artwork also has been exhibited at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, Leo Castelli Gallery and The Contemporary Artist Center, USA. Her clients include The New York Times, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Aveda, Aga Khan Foundation, Real Music, Kraft and Onex Corporation. Linda's creative use of colour was chosen for "The Art of Building Campaign" in phase 3 of the Art Gallery of Ontario, several LCBO In-Store-Signage campaigns and other projects. Linda teaches in the Faculty of Design at OCAD.
